Saman Hasan is a Pakistani American actress and producer based in NYC, trained at the prestigious William Esper Conservatory. She made history as the first Pakistani female actor to lead a film on Lifetime Network. Her acclaimed short film Nani's Biryani won the Diversity Award at Cannes and premiered at SXSW’s Muslim House, while her role in Mysore Magic garnered accolades at the Palm Shorts Festival.

With extensive experience across film, television, and international fashion modeling, Saman’s work spans Lifetime, Amazon Prime, Tubi, Hallmark, and includes a notable appearance in a national KIA EV commercial. She has also showcased her talents in numerous film festivals.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Saman brings a decade of expertise in big tech and advertising from her roles at Reddit and LinkedIn, which has facilitated a smooth transition into producing. She holds her role as a South Asian, Muslim woman in the arts in high regard and is dedicated to creating art with intention and consciousness. Her goal is to foster tolerance and bring to life stories that explore both South Asian culture and the broader human experience.

Saman continues to act in diverse genres and is currently working on writing her own screenplay, committed to using her platform to promote understanding and inclusivity.
